POLICY STATEMENT

Murdoch University is committed to achieving the highest standards of managing effectively its human resources by:

The Human Resource Management policy is a key component of the University's management philosophy.

The policy requires that all Administrative Heads be fully accountable for the effective management of staff entrusted to them. 

Human Resources provides an efficient, effective and professional service to all staff and each Administrative Head to ensure that the human resources management objectives of the University are achieved. The key services provided by Human Resources are detailed in a statement of Service Commitment to Staff.

GUIDELINES

To achieve the objectives of the Human Resource Management policy the following essential standards apply:

Each staff member has the responsibility for ensuring the application and achievement of the Human Resource Management policy and its objectives and standards.
