For employees covered by one of the University’s Collective Workplace Agreements accelerated incremental advancement may be granted by the Director Human Resources. Accelerated incremental advancement should only occur where there is a clearly demonstrated case, put forward by the Administrative Head, that an employee has performed in excess of the normal expectations of the position at the current salary step. Cases will not be considered where a staff member has not completed 12 months service.
Employees covered by an Australian Workplace Agreement will have their performance considered at the time of the annual performance and salary review. It is at this point that performance above expectations can be rewarded.
