Members of staff should not use or allow the use of the name of the University or otherwise identify themselves as members of the University in the public promotion or advertising of commercial products without the prior approval of the Vice-Chancellor.
The use of the University's name in this way will only be approved where it can be demonstrated that there is some direct benefit to the University in so doing.
The responsibilities for application of the policy on the use of the University's name are as follows:
