In support of the University’s Strategic Plan, Human Resources has developed a statement of service commitment to staff. This statement summarises the service standards of key services provided by Human Resources, and reflects our commitment to customer service.
Human Resources provides key services, including consultancy and advice, to the University in the following areas:
Employee Relations: conditions of employment, job design, job classification/remuneration, contract development, and employee assistance program.
Recruitment: advertising, recording vacancies, selection, induction, and casual employment.
Probation and Promotion: administration and advice on procedures, including servicing of relevant committees.
Remuneration and Benefits: personnel Records, payroll delivery, salary packaging, superannuation.
Staff Development: skill development, and performance development.
Organisational Development: advice on change management and organisational structures.
Occupational Safety and Health: general occupational safety and health, workers’ compensation, and rehabilitation of injured workers.
